Revenue Leak Scanner Privacy Notice

Your file is processed on your computer and is never uploaded. We only receive the contact details and summary totals you choose to send.

About this notice

Effective September 27, 2026 · Publisher: RevenueCTRL (revenuectrl.com)

This notice covers only the RevenueCTRL Revenue Leak Scanner Chrome extension (“the extension”). For RevenueCTRL’s website and services, see the main RevenueCTRL Privacy Policy. If the two differ on how the extension handles data, this notice applies.

Files you upload

  • Your A/R aging report (CSV, XLSX, or XLS) is opened and parsed locally inside the extension, in your browser. It is never uploaded to RevenueCTRL or anyone else.
  • The extension reads only three kinds of values: payer, balance, and days outstanding (or aging-bucket amounts). Every other column, such as patient names, account numbers, dates of birth, and dates of service, is ignored.
  • Individual rows are never saved to browser storage, extension storage, or logs, and they are never sent over the network. Closing the panel or scanning another file discards all results.

What we collect

Only if you submit the “See the full breakdown” form, we receive:

  • Contact details you type in: full name, practice name, work email, phone number, practice type, and whether you agreed to follow-up contact.
  • Summary totals from your scan: total A/R, estimated revenue at risk, and total dollars in each aging bucket (0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 91–120, 120+ days).

What we do not collect

We do not receive patient information, claim or account details, payer-level rows, or your file. The extension does not collect health information, browsing history, or data from other websites, and it has no access to your tabs.

How we use it

We use your contact details and totals to follow up about your results and RevenueCTRL’s free claims audit. We do not sell your information. Submissions are stored with our database provider (Supabase).

Your choices and deletion

You can use the teaser estimate without submitting anything. To access, correct, or delete what you submitted, or to stop follow-up contact, email info@revenuectrl.com from the address you used. We will confirm by email once it is done. How we handle and keep information after you submit it is also described in the main RevenueCTRL Privacy Policy.

Changes

If this notice changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version with the extension.
